From beginners looking to improve their form and gain strength, to experienced athletes aiming to break records, Marissa provides personalized guidance, programming, and support to help you reach your powerlifting goals.
With her six years of personal competitive experience at the local, regional and national level and through her experience working with clients of all ages including masters age athletes, Marissa has the skills and experience to help you reach new strength heights. In addition, Marissa has a firm educational background in strength training and powerlifting as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a USA Powerlifting Club Coach. Her personalized powerlifting coaching will help you set new records and develop your strength on and off the platform!
Competitive Powerlifting Coach
A competitive powerlifting coach is an experienced and knowledgeable professional who specializes in training athletes for the sport of competitive powerlifting. Marissa will work closely with you to develop a personalized training plans, refine your technique, and reach your highest potential in powerlifting competitions. She has a deep understanding of strength training principles, biomechanics, and programming strategies specific to powerlifting. Additionally, Marissa will help you with mental preparation, nutrition, and recovery strategies to optimize your performance on the platform. She is dedicated to helping you reach your strength goals!
Non-Competitive Strength Coach
Not interested in competing but still want to build your overall strength in the squat, bench press and deadlift? Marissa can help you optimize your technique in these three movements, reduce your risk of injury and build your overall strength with personalized strength programming. Even if you do not wish to compete in powerlifting, working with a powerlifting coach can provide you with the motivation and guidance needed to reach your strength goals.

Price of Powerlifting Coaching
The rate for Marissa’s powerlifting coaching is $150 per four weeks. You can cancel anytime, but Marissa suggests committing at least six months to a year to coaching for the best results.
Who Should Consider Powerlifting Coaching?
If you want to get stronger at the squat, bench or deadlift or have competitive aspirations, powerlifting coaching could work for you! Marissa recommends at least six months to a year of general weight training experience before pursuing powerlifting coaching. If you have never done barbell weight training before, you should start with personal training first before considering working with a powerlifting coach.
