Terry’s Amazing Personal Training Transformation

Client Success Story

Terry started with personal training with me towards the end of 2017. We have been working together 2 times per week since then. She has a great client success story.

So far, Terry has made amazing improvements to her health, fitness and overall well-being with personal training.

Strength

Since Terry started working with me, she has completely transformed both her strength and stamina. She regularly deadlifts 120-150 lbs for reps, rows a large percentage of her bodyweight, and can use 25 lb dumbbells for flat presses for sets of 8 to 10. She also does Romanian Deadlifts, kettlebell swings, pulldowns, step ups and other strength exercises regularly, which have transformed her strength, balance and agility.

Initially unable to do any single sided leg exercise due to knee pain, Terry is now able to do step ups, reverse lunges and even walking lunges, and for the most part, pain free.

“I used to think I would never do lunges again,” Terry now says with a smirk.

Endurance

In addition, Terry has improved her endurance tenfold. With goals to complete two long endurance bike rides this year, Terry has built up her ability to withstand long efforts on the bike.

On two additional days of the week, Terry completes both a tempo bike ride and a long bike ride. So far she has worked up her mileage to 40 miles at a time, which is even more incredible considering last Winter she couldn’t even walk up the stairs without knee pain!

Weight Loss

Since starting together, Terry has lost over 50 lb. and has completely changed her body composition. While her workouts have created the stimulus for new muscle growth, Terry’s weight loss is the result of her new nutrition habits and commitment to better eating.

Terry has completely changed her nutrition, beginning with better habits, eating out much less often, and even beginning to track and monitor her calorie and nutrient intake most days.

Confidence

The biggest and most exciting change I have witnessed in Terry is her newfound confidence with physical activity and willingness to try new things, like that 40 mile bike ride she did last weekend!

I don’t think Terry would have set such challenging or diverse goals a year ago, and I am excited to see her crush them

It is so rewarding to see her abilities broaden and inspire new endeavors.
