Amanda approached me in October of 2016 wanting to make major changes to her physique for her upcoming 30th birthday in March. Since that time, she has become a huge client success story.
Amanda has worked with other trainers in the past, but none had really pushed her to lift heavy weights before.
I think Amanda–like most women–was a bit scared to start a progressive strength program for fear it would make her brawny and “>bulky.
However, she he was willing to give the training a try, though, so we quickly got to work. Her hesitations quickly faded as she begin to see huge changes in her physique.
Little by little, she saw new muscle definition and lost inches around her waist, legs, back and arms with a well-designed strength training program.
Three times a week she does deadlifts, pull ups, squats, chest presses rows and some accessory work, focusing on getting stronger over time. We do a little bit of cardio but mostly we just focus on the weights.
Amanda puts in major work! Her painful-lifting faces are evidence of her intense effort during our sessions together. She always has a great attitude, work ethic, and understanding that it will take time and hard work to get where she wants to be. She knows that unfortunately, there are no shortcuts to achieving her goals.
Results
Amanda has made huge positive changes over the past six months.
She has completely revamped her physical appearance, just by focusing on giving her best each lifting session.
Even more importantly she is much fitter and stronger and has a whole new appreciation for the amazing things she can do. I am so glad Amanda did not shy away from lifting heavy weights. She seems more confident and self assured now that she has begun to see her physical capabilities.
